Coworkations in Cape Town and Mauritius

During this summer we had a lot of enquiries for workations, coworking and coliving in Cape Town. Besides that, we got several offers from property owners in Africa and Europe who like our relaxed, beach coworking space concept and want to set up their own CoworKite shared space. Our plan is to go global and have a network of beautiful, community driven coworking spaces by the beach, but for now we are focused on Africa. We believe Sub-Saharan Africa offers unique opportunities for digital nomads, it is still relatively undiscovered and kitesurfing spots are awesome. The best time to be in Cape Town, especially for business kitesurfers, is October through April, which coincides with cold months in Europe and North America. So from the next summer (European winter) we’ll start with workations and coliving for digital nomads in Cape Town, followed by Mauritius, Reunion, Kenya, Zanzibar and Namibia. Mauritius boasts some of the best kitesurfing conditions in the world and it is a great place to escape winter in Cape Town. Infrastructure is very good and fibre optic has become more accessible. In case you didn’t know, all previously mentioned African countries are also amazing kitesurfing destinations with Cape Town as kitesurfing capital of the world.
