Today we are interviewing Kurt Schoerie from Arctic Edge Digital, app design and development specialist. He was CoworKite’s first dedicated desk member.
Tell us more about yourself, what’s your background?
I have a BA in motion picture and a diploma in Autodesk Maya. I moved to Cape Town 5 years ago to be closer to the ocean where I find my creativity, and to build a company that is built on positive energy and quality services. I am passionate about helping companies grow their brands through the use of technology.
What does your company do?
Arctic Edge was created to focus on the highest quality development and design. We strive to help companies to increase productivity and sales so they can compete with market leaders.

Arctic Edge has obtained a lot of experience over the years and strives for nothing but the best quality development services.
When did you join CoworKite and which membership did you choose?
I joined in December and took a dedicated desk package and it’s the best thing I could have done.
Do you have any tips for those who are choosing between coworking office and their own office?
I have visited a few co working spaces and dedicated office spaces in Cape Town and never really found an office that offered quality community environment with quality facilities.
The facilities in CoworKite are well taken care of so you save time, and the office over all is managed incredibly well. Fibre optic internet is very fast, your equipment is safe, there is street parking, and you can scale according to your needs so you do not need to pay for space you don’t need. There are no unseen costs. In CoworKite you meet start up business owners people you can bounce ideas off, you network daily when people visit the office. The boardroom is beautiful, and if you live in the area there is no traffic to work. If you are a person who is serious about taking company to the next level and grow, then CoworKite is the place for you.
Kitesurfing, surfing or „normal“ beach lover?
Beach lover and occasional surfer.

Bloubergstrand’s attraction lies in its white sandy beaches from which the view of Table Mountain and the city of Cape Town is quite spectacular

I loved this post too! Although, I fail to see the humour in it. I think it’s an apt portrayal of a brilliant businessman who found a comfortable, efficient place to run his company from. Thank you Kurt Schoerie for the amazing work you did on our project and thank you CoworkKite for housing such professionals!
Hi, just wanted to say, I loved this post. It was funny. Keep on posting!
