Our coworking office in Cape Town this year is replaced with spacious coworking-coliving villa with a pool. It is located one road from the main kitesurfing beach where King of The Air competition takes place, and close to all the action in Blouberg, but still in a quiet street. Coliving villa is across the kite beach, every room has a desk with comfy chair and additionally there is an office room on the ground floor. The whole villa has fibre optic access 100 Mbps.
Why did we decide to change from workation to coliving Cape Town?
Cape Town’s community of location independent professionals has grown a lot for the last few years (check our guide for nomads here). Blouberg has emerged into the very known and the biggest hub for kitesurfing nomads globally with a connected community, that organizes a lot of events and meetups. The need for curating the kite-wind-surf community of nomads and bringing them to Cape Town is much smaller. Since community is already here and it’s great then CoworKite needs to offer no more than place to work and accommodation. So this summer instead of our workation in Cape Town, we’re introducing much more affordable coliving program in Blouberg from November 2018 until March 2019.

Apart from a coworking villa we have nearby accommodation in beautiful coliving apartments by the beach, with amazing sea and Table Mountain view. The house and all coliving apartments are located in Blouberg, a beach-side neighbourhood that offers the best of both worlds. We enjoy very safe, relaxed lifestyle, with plenty of great restaurants and a spectacular postcard view of Table Mountain, while being just a 15 minute drive from the busy Cape Town center.
